Insurance & First Aid
Your safety and the well-being of all participants is a top priority. Please review the following information regarding insurance coverage and first aid services available during the tournament:
Insurance:
- Melo Sports SC does not provide or carry player insurance, because of this we heavily encourage that teams do carry their own insurance.
- Trainers will be on-site and available at all times during tournaments.
- Melo Sports SC is NOT responsible for any injuries that happen on site or during any of the games throughout our tournament.
First Aid Assistance:
- Basic first aid supplies (ice packs, bandages, etc.) will be available at the Tournament Desk or Gym Office.
- In case of injury:
- Notify a tournament official or staff member immediately
- We will assist in contacting onsite medical personnel (if available) or emergency services as needed
Serious injuries will be referred to the nearest urgent care or hospital. Emergency contact information for each player should be kept with the coach at all times.
Coaches: Be Prepared
- Have emergency contact information for all players
- Carry basic first aid items with your team (recommended)
- Report any injuries to staff for incident documentation
